In an effort to make the
1555 and
1556 Double-Hung windows more aesthetically pleasing and streamline production, MI Windows and Doors will place the screen spline on the interior of these products beginning May 1. This change applies only to the half-screen option and impacts our customers serviced out of Texas and Pennsylvania.
MI is making this change at the request of both our customers and production team. Our customers have requested that the 1555/1556 use an interior screen spline with no pull tabs for a cleaner appearance. Also, an additional advantage to using interior spline in that it increases longevity by protecting the spline from exterior environmental elements.
