MI Windows and Doors is enhancing warranty coverage for seal failures on new construction and replacement products manufactured in Pennsylvania and Texas for windows and doors with laminated glass, including the StormArmor™ impact-resistant enhancement. Beginning Sunday, March 1, coverage for laminated and impact IGUs will include:
- 20 years for obstruction of vision caused by seal failure in a residential application
- 10 years for obstruction of vision caused by seal failure in a commercial application
This change enhances the coverage and protection of our StormArmor-enhanced windows and doors and better positions MI Windows’ products in storm-prone markets. These updated warranties will replace the current New Construction Limited Lifetime Product Warranty and Replacement Limited Lifetime Product Warranty for the Eastern and Southern Regions.
