A team from MI Windows and Doors traveled to North Carolina for a day of golf, and they came back with a little hardware.
MI CEO Matt DeSoto, Senior Vice President of Sales Jerry Meyer, Eastern Director of Sales Chris Klouser, and Sales Associate Jason Cecco headed to Raleigh in late September for BMC’s annual Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) dinner and golf tournament. BMC handed out its annual awards as part of the program, and MI won for National Window Supplier of the Year and Mid-Atlantic Vendor of the Year.
“We accepted the awards, but they are really attributable to the great job our manufacturing teams, Inside Sales, and others do for BMC,” Klouser says. “A big thank you goes out to the entire MI team for helping us achieve these awards.”
In determining the winners, BMC officials said that the On Time In Full rate was an important factor, and MI excelled in that area.
“We take a lot of pride in making sure the order is accurate and on time,” Klouser says. “And BMC obviously appreciates our efforts.”
The golf tournament/dinner raised thousands of dollars for the fight against leukemia, lymphoma, and myeloma. BMC has worked with LLS since 2009.
“Our companies have so many similarities,” Klouser says. “We’re both so committed to giving back to our communities. That’s one reason why this business partnership has grown over the years.”
